Sarah Bellum Mental is a Chicago based poet that transplanted to Houston, TX.

She performs at Write About Now in Houston, TX. She competed in the Woman Of The World Poetry Slam and Southern Fried Poetry Slam as an individual poet in 2021. She featured at Mindwell Poetry in New Mexico in August, 2021.

She offers workshops in 2021 to get inspired with poetic creation. Anyone can be a poet and all you need is to believe in your words needing to be heard. She believes in poetry shining light into dark places so we all feel connection and a little less alone in this world.

Her first book, Buried Bones Home, is available through Amazon, released July, 2021. It was published with Mindwell Poetry.

Her second book, Swallow My Sparrow, is available to buy, it was released August 2021. It was published with Read Or Green Books.
